The need for STEM [Infographic]
No, this is not about stem cells. This is all about STEM as in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This is also about politics, given the strong relation of the term to the various educational programs and strategies developed by nations governments. And, of course, it's about how a nation views and builds its own future, providing access to a high level of education, about efforts made to prepare itself for new challenges, about the way it makes sure that its citizens become skilled professionals able to perform in a competitive world. Ultimately it's about individuals and the way they think and act now to make sure sure that tomorrow they'll be smarter.

It's not a fancy approach to how we handle our daily tasks but an answer to our needs. We all have now a set of new and affordable means to securely access our bussiness information from any place in the world at any given time. Mobile computing is no more a Sci-Fi scenario. It's happening now, as we speak, even if you probably didn't notice all the aspects of the phenomenon. Well, in order to make this much clearer, the Gist staff has put up a very well covered, self-explanatory Infographic that we'd like to share with you.
Sage and Ivy iPhone application is a success
It's not only the iPhone application but the whole iCat system's success. What makes it so special ? Well, the fact that the application is very well received by our client's customers abroad. Alexia van Engelen, from Sage and Ivy, gave us her opinion on the iPhone application we created for her.

Doi Pusti mobile application - approved on App Store
Using our own product, the iCat service, we adapted our first mobile product catalogue to the Doi Pusti webshop. A custom built mobile interface allows easy and intuitive navigation inside the content.
Customers already used to the structure of the main website will find the products grouped in exactly the same way into multiple nested categories.

iCat is a genuine SaaS product powering a collection of smartphone applications to address the online shop owners in need of a presentation catalogue on mobile devices. Although the shop owners will pay a monthly fee to access the service, their customers will use the application for free.
Besides the basic catalogue and e-shop functions each custom made application is able to send notifications to its users about promotions, special offers and discounts. The custom made interface is very intuitive and easy to use.
