Habitat Beius presentation website

About Habitat Beius: As they call themselves: "Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical nonprofit organization, looking to eliminate poor housing in Beius and surroundings in order to make decent housing a matter of conscience and action". Client's requirements: The client requested a clean website design, to convey the warmth and devotion of the people who belong to this organization, along with the charitable and voluntary gestures of those who participate in this project, building houses. Client: Habitat for Humanity Beius, Romania (i-Consult partener)

Key points:

Web design website: We kept the logo and the predominant colors of the old site (green and blue), but adapted the layout design to the current trends: longer pages, with airy content, easy to navigate through. The Recent Projects section, displayed on the frontpage comes out very well and does not require scrolling.

Web programming: The site uses ILCMS, our in-house developed administration module which allows a comfortable management of menus, team projects, volunteers, static pages content (texts and images) and basic SEO functions (meta information) For the sliding menus we used JavaScript and CSS (jQuery) techniques to give a touch of interactivity to the whole content..

Website maintenance and tech support: Post-delivery the client also signed in for a "support and maintenance" service package.

Technologies: RubyOnRails, MySQL, Html/CSS, jQuery, Java Script, Adobe Fireworks (website design), ILCMS.
