About the Lumen Studio iPhone app: Lumen Studio is a project of the Image Art company and the School of Photography in Sibiu, Romania. Their staff is constantly asked for advices about photo equipment like cameras, tripods or other photo studio accessories. This shop came to life as a consequence and its a solution for both beginners in the art of photography and experienced photographers. Amateurs can easily find their very own first photo camera while professionals find lots of items to enhance their already existing photo studio. The success they had amongst their trainees made them wish for a bit more to extend this project. Therefore this is not only a shop where one can buy high quality, affordable and durable photo products. It's also a perfect place to seek professional guidance to meet any photographer's needs, regardless of his experience.

The "Lumen Studio" mobile application allows a fast and easy view on the Lumen Studio online shop's products, simply using an iPhone or any other smartphone device.
The products are grouped into nested categories, matching the exact same structure and content already existing on the main website, displayed in a very intuitive and easy to use mobile interface. The iPhone users are encouraged to download this freeware application directly from the Apple App Store.
For any other smartphone devices the application is to be accessed at http://lumenstudio.icat.ro using any available mobile web browser.

New stuff and improvements:

Very fast customization of the iPhone and smartphone application:
The application is made using the iCat product. An XML file is generated, containing all the categories and products in the online shop. This XML file updates itself in sync with the main website's categories and products.

Graphical layouts for the software application:
the iCat graphical layout is customized according to the www.lumenstudio.ro website colour palette and its logo.

DISCOUNTS menu option:
fast view, easy access to the site's special offers, discounts, rebates, etc.

FAVORITE menu option:
The users can easily add one or more products into a Favorites list, which can easily be ordered at a later time.

SEARCH menu option:
Allows easy filtering of products using the Manufacturer Name, Product ID or Product Name.

CONTACT and ORDER:
Each product detailed info-page allows either SENDING a PHONE CALL to the shop's owner or SENDING AN ORDER by E-MAIL. If the product has more than one representative images
in its gallery then the user can easily flip through them with a finger touch.
