Milk production reporting system for the EU

About the "Milk production reporting system" application: This application came to life following the Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry's order no 445/2008, which stated that all the milk collecting and dairy processing units have the legal obligation to publicly report upon the prices paid to the milk producers for the collected milk and the resulted final production prices (at the factories gates)

Business and technical analysis, system architecture concept:
In a step by step dialogue with our client we indentified all the necessary functions and requirements of the future application. Given the scale of the entire project, we also made a complex evaluation of the existing resources and a list of new resources to be added, making sure that not even a small detail will be left behind. Finally we gathered all the data, all the project's specs into a comprehensive written document which later on, during the implementation phase, served as a precise set of guidelines for our graphic designers and programmers.

Graphic interface design:
Based on the project's technical analysis we offered a full graphical layout set covering all the website's pages and sections. We worked side by side with the client until the layouts fully met all the end user's needs (the dairy producers which were to send detailed reports to the EU)

Custom made software:

Turning a ministry's order into a fully computerized process lead us to the implementation of a web based application, used by both dairy processors (scattered all over the country) and the Ministry's counselors who needed a customized informational system to gather, extract and compile the data into several charts and reports requested by the EU.
Together with a ministry counselor, specially asigned to us for this task, we made an in-depth technical analysis. Later on we implemented the application's necessary features, to fully cover the data aquisition, data synthesis and reporting processes, thus allowing our country to meet the EU's requests.
