About the "Hospital classification system" application: A web based application required by the Health Ministry of Romania which asked that all the hospitals to provide precise and detailed reports about their medical equipment and treatment skills, in order to classify them into specific categories. |
Client's requirements:
- A custom made management system for the specific attributes of each hospital category
- A custom made report generator with reports based on regions and hospital categories
- Option to export to Excel (XLS) spreadsheets
- The possibility to entirely modify each hospital's classification data
- The possibility to update (add, edit, delete) any medical equipment or treatment skills list, for any given hospital
- Registered users (a. ministry employees b. hospitals representatives)
- Reports history and archive

In a step by step dialogue with our client we indentified all the necessary functions and requirements of the future application. Given the scale of the entire project, we also made a complex evaluation of the existing resources and a list of new resources to be added, making sure that not even a small detail will be left behind. Finally we gathered all the data, all the project's specs into a comprehensive written document which later on, during the implementation phase, served as a precise set of guidelines for our graphic designers and programmers.
Custom made software development and application testing:
We emphasised more on the functional role, less on the interface design which was decided to only to be simple and ergonomic.
We carefully analyzed the ministry's requests and came up with solutions for a complete computerization implementation of the data flow, giving a full outlook over the medical equipment and
treatment skills, nation wide, in our country's hospitals. The entire system was thorougly tested, in detail, by both us and client.

A six months warranty period was offered to the client. During that time we made several requested code adjustments and some very small bug fixes.
